It’s Wednesday afternoon.  It’s 4.45pm.  I’m a bit bored and low on energy.  Usual 3 options at this point to get some digital stimulation and feel busy and productive:

–          Check my emails

–          Check my Facebook notifications

–          Check my Twitter ‘@’ replies

Thanks to this month’s ‘Email Friday’ experiment, I have none of these options currently open to me.  I have nowhere to go.  The gate to busy digital distraction is locked.  So let me figure out my new options here.

New options:

–          Do a mini ‘review’ of my lists and calendar and check where things are up to

–          Start something new

Much better.  The moral of the story?  It’s difficult to notice your bad productivity habits when you’re in your normal routine.
